This project is exploring the culture of science and engineering within the UK education system.

Researchers at the University of Central Lancashire are working to better understand how the experiences and characteristics of young people in the UK help to shape their access to the ‘culture of science and engineering’ and in turn how this shapes their educational experience and career aspiration with engineering.

By advancing this understanding we believe we can better support young people who are disenfranchised from science and engineering in their education.
